7 –  23 January 2022

Join Wine Diva Deb on Azamara Quest discovering beaches, barrios and scenic beauty. Immerse yourself in the vibrant nightlife and stunning art-deco architecture of Miami before setting sail on your Central and South American adventure. First stop is Key West, one of the sunniest cities in the U.S. At only four miles long by two miles wide, you’ll be able to explore many of its beaches, historic sights, shops, gardens, and bars.

Take the following day at sea to explore all your boutique hotel at sea has to offer before arriving in bustling George Town, Grand Cayman. More than just a financial hub, discover the island’s turquoise coast by sail, kayak, or snorkel.

Then, it’s on to Puerto Limon to experience the heart of Costa Rica’s Afro-Caribbean culture and exhilarating eco-adventures. Hike through rainforest paths surrounded by monkeys, sloths, and exotic birds or snorkel amongst coral reefs at Cahuita National Park.

After another relaxing day at sea, we arrive in Cartagena, Colombia for an overnight stay. Take time to marvel at this walled city’s rich Spanish colonial architecture and cultural sites—the Castle of San Felipe de Barajas and the Palace of the Inquisition are must-sees—or lounge on the sun-soaked beaches of Islas del Rosario National Park. Up next, is something on every cruise lover’s bucket list: passage through the Panama Canal. One of the seven wonders of the modern world, it’s an unforgettable experience at sea.

From the canal, we arrive in Ecuador by way of the Pacific to discover the vibrant local life from two ports. Historic Manta offers culture and seascapes abound. Embrace the powerful waves from the city’s stunning beaches with a morning of watersports before heading to the country’s largest city. In Guayaquil, stroll streets lined with stunning neoclassical architecture and take in the electric nightlife with a late night stay. The world’s first cocoa port, why not treat yourself to a famed ‘chocodinner’ at the Hotel Oro Verde’s Le Gourmet restaurant, where every course features Ecuador-reared cacao beans.

One more day at sea allows you to soak up one last session of sunset yoga, indulge at our specialty restaurants, or become a wine expert with tips from our sommelier before landing in Salaverry (Trujillo), Peru. Known as the “City of Eternal Spring,” explore 16th-century plazas awash in vivid hues or dive into the region’s history at Chan Chan—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest ancient city in South America.

With over five centuries of history Lima, or the “City of Kings,” is the perfect spot to end this action-packed journey or continue your travels to experience everything Lima has to offer, from the Museo Larco to fine dining in this gastronomic capital of South America.
