Details of the Ports:

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Described by Darwin as "more magnificent than anything any European has ever seen in his country of origin", Rio is blessed with an idyllic setting. Lying on Brazil's Atlantic coast close to the Tropic of Capricorn, Rio boasts a coastline of magnificent beaches set against a mountainous backdrop.

Buzios, Brazil
A picturesque fishing village originally settled by pirates and slave traders, now a hip beach resort for those seeking a different kind of bling in the sophisticated boutiques and restaurants along the Bardot Seaside, where Brigitte is immortalized in bronze.

Parati, Brazil
Preserved as if it's been in sealed in time capsule for the past 300 years, this former gold rush town's Baroque churches and cobblestone streets hale to a past glory. Just south of Rio de Janeiro, Parati is a restful pace where you can explore the past without forgoing modern luxuries.

Ilhabela, Brazil
Most of this island has been set aside as a Biosphere Preserve, ensuring that future generations will be able to have the same opportunity to breathe in the essence of the Atlantic coastal rain forest. Sit quietly and let the sounds, smells, sights, and textures overwhelm your senses.

Porto Belo, Brazil
Known as the quaintest port on the Emerald Coast, Porto Belo still maintains the look of an ancient fishing village to this day. Just a short ride away you can find the Island of Porto Belo where you can relax at the beach, follow some underwater trails, or take a hike along the Trilha Ecológica (Ecological Trail) and view prehistoric rock carvings.

Punta Del Este, Uruguay
Known as the "Saint-Tropez of Latin America" Punta del Este" is a favorite summer playground of the rich and famous of southernmost South America, with a pristine 20-mile shoreline offering two distinctly different types of beaches. Big waves beckon surfers at la Brava, while calmer waters create ideal conditions for sailing - or just plain relaxing - at La Mansa.

Montevideo, Uruguay
This walking city is a haven of open-air cafés and European-inspired squares. Don't miss the Museo de Gaucho, a fascinating look into the cowboy life, South American style. Even though Montevideo is surrounded by a continuous stretch of white-sand beach, you're never more than a taxi ride away from a museum, art gallery or a theater.

Buenos Aires, Argentina
Birthplace of the Tango, and known as the Paris of the South, this cosmopolitan business center is rich in charm and culture. There are opera houses, museums and cathedrals that rival any in Europe. Puerto Madero, the city's oldest port, has been transformed into a vibrant restaurant and boutique center
